In 2007, Mr. Gizal Ansari, the founder and owner of Golden Cakes and Cookies began his bakery business with delicious variety of cakes and baked food in Wanowrie Pune. This well-known establishment acts as a one-stop destination servicing customers both local and from other parts of Pune. I met with Mr. Ansari because I wanted to highlight his adorable shop in our Small Business Success Stories series. We have modernized the operations like improving record-keeping, creating a functional website, taking orders online, printing shipping labels and creating social media pages etc. The transition from physical to digital record-keeping was laborious and time-consuming initially but has been fruitful.

Keeping flavours consistent, requires consistent use of the same ingredients too. Golden Cakes uses all-natural items to make their cakes which are fresh and full of rich flavour.
